Project Title:
Jam rate improvement for Test Handler through

& Predictive
**Maintenance

Description:
Test handler is a pick & place equipment used to transfer units from component tray to test carrier. After testing, they will sort them back to component tray based on test results. Like every equipment, it has performance variability in High Volume Manufacturing environment.

The objective of the project is to understand the sources of variability, control variations & predict failure using effective problem solving, data analysis and datamation techniques.

By doing so, we can improve availability of equipment for production needs.

Scope:

Exposure / Training to Equipment hardware, physical automation & datamation tools
Hands on experience in dynamic high volume manufacturing environment
Training & opportunity to develop datamation solution including data modeling, data visualizations
Exposure to tool maintenance & ownership including Preventive Maintenance & Predictive Maintenance
Hands on experience in team work, project management & problem solving

Deliverable:

Provide proposals for Jam Rate Improvement for Test Handler
Automated reports using Data Modeling, Data Visualization & Predictive Maintenance control

Skillset Required:
Problem Solving, Data Analysis, Basic Statistics, Project Management, Datamation

Target Courses:
Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
