Wisdom

“Science is organized knowledge. Wisdom is organized life.”

I now want to take a more indepth look at the question, "What is Wisdom?"

"God is Wisdom, and he gives wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to those who reverence Him." - (Proverbs 2:6) If you have a deep, reverential sense of trust and accountability to Him, then you are on the ‘springboard’ of all wisdom. That means you know that God is great and awesome in power and majesty. You know that He is faithful and true. and is worthy of all our praise and adoration.

It means that you have decided to take Him at His Word no matter what the circumstances look like. It means that you know and accept that His knowledge is vastly superior to yours, and he knows what needs to be done much more than you do. You know that His word makes you wiser than your enemies, and even the teachers and philosophers that the world so admires.

You never say such foolish words like, “I know God promised that, but…” You are a child of the God of all wisdom, and you trust your heavenly Father regardless of what your eyes see, your ears hear, or what is going on around you. You trust Him and receive His wisdom willingly. You know beyond a shadow of doubt that He is causing you to walk in that wisdom every day of your life.

I wanted to share some verses with you:

– “The Lord gave Solomon wisdom, just as he had promised him. There were peaceful relations between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty.” (1 Kings 5:12)  The Lord has given us wisdom, common sense, and extensive knowledge, and I have peace on every side.

- “But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.” (Job 32:8)  It is my spirit man that gives me understanding. It is the breath of God within me that makes me wise.

– “Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.” (Psalm 51:6) This means our Father’s desire for me is to have a spirit of integrity and truth. It is through fellowship with my spirit that He teaches me His wisdom

There is so many verses related to Wisdom in the Bible that is would take another ten pages. My goal is to let you understand that wisdom comes from God, not just from life experience.
