Job Description & Requirements

  • To support inquirybased learning for Science.
  • To support the smooth operations of two science laboratories with a focus on enabling handson learning for science learning.
  • To assist teachers in the preparation of materials and apparatus for science practical lessons and assessments.
  • To manage, operate, care and maintain the science laboratories and science learning environment (eg., school garden and science corners)
  • To source and procure equipment and materials and maintain an inventory list of consumables and keep track of inventory.
  • To take responsibility for laboratory safety and may be required to serve as a certified first aider.
  • To assist in classes, workshops and other events in logistic support and supervision of safe use of laboratory tools.
  • To assist in General Office eg., reception duty, handle telephone calls, attend to students, parents and visitors, update sick bay record, photocopy documents, filing, inventory management and replenishment of stationery etc.
  • Any other duties assigned by the School Leaders/ Administrative Manager as required by the School. For example accompanying school students out on Science field trips, etc.

Salary Range:

- $2,300 - $2,400
