Job Description:

The Principal Analyst will lead the development and delivery of high-quality research and thought leadership for solar photovoltaic markets, technology, and supply chain in the Asia Pacific region.

This includes engaging with clients, identifying emerging themes that will impact the industry and ensuring Wood Mackenzie is delivering cutting-edge research, data, and forecasts.

The day to day of the role involves overseeing our solar market outlook in Asia, managing and building the regional research team, conducting in-depth research on the latest market trends, and developing and implementing a business growth strategy.

The Principal Analyst will guide and develop junior analysts on the storage team and coordinate cross-technology research with other analysts on the conventional power, wind, battery storage and other teams.

The Principal Analyst is expected to conduct original research with the guidance of the Global Head of Solar Research and deliver analysis through written reports, public speaking, addressing customer inquiries, custom research engagements and occasionally consulting projects.

Through research activities, client interactions and industry events you will have opportunity to build and maintain relationships with a range of clients and other experts in the power & renewables industry and impact key decision makers.
