Description
Perform general logistics activities such as receiving inbound shipments, put-away, picking/packing/labeling, decoding, and releasing outbound shipments accurately

  • To perform quality and quantity checks prior to delivery (pick & pack)
  • To verify Packing List and shipping documents against physical goods, ensure the correct quantity and items are received from supplier/vendor/factory, and report all exceptions found
  • To carry out housekeeping of the warehouse and maintenance of equipment.
  • To ensure inventory accuracy and adherence to SOP
  • Comply with safety, health, and operational quality standards
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Immediate Supervisor as and when required
Competencies

  • Knowledge of supply chain management and related fields.
  • Have excellent numeracy, literacy and organizational skills.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to clients who visit the warehouse.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects.
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.
  • Experience with Excel and other specialist stock tracking software.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • A comprehensive understanding of safety procedures.
  • Minimising stock loss.
  • Meeting tight deadlines.

  • Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
License

  • Class 3 Driving license required.
