Role Overview:

Report into regional head of technology including interactions with regional CIO and other key stakeholders globally
Set out principles, patterns and building blocks for use of delivery teams; assuring governance meeting technology roadmaps
Manage holistic view of infrastucture and supporting technologies
Participate in all build vs buy decisions; work closely with business and provide right solutions and bring value add to all purchasing decisions
Keep upto date current technology landscapes, target architectures and roadmaps which then feeds into overall IT strategy

Understand the firm's Group Cloud, Outsourcing and Vendor Management practices and take these into account when reviewing their technology domain use cases.


Role Description:

Work with business closely to understand the key business strategies that are in place and emerging; align them to technology target roadmaps, architectures
Deliver target operating model; lead and drive solution feasibility analysis, project effort sizing and achieve minimum or no deviation to overall technology roadmap
Act as key lead in all development strategies and provide necessary guidance towards the system development plans
escalated to relevant cross IT groups and governance authorities.
Maintain strong collaborative links - within IT and to Business; regional and global stake holders

Assist Service Owners to ensure their requests meet the defined policies and cloud hosting/service models, including adhering to the IT's Risk Management Framework, e.g.

identity and access
management, business continuity, and exit strategies for their party vendors including external cloud services.
Adhere to all legal processes within impacted regions and understanding of any license implications for a product or service.
Adhere to all global and regional vendor management and sourcing policies, frameworks and processes as appropriate.


Job Requirements:

Minimum 10 year of experience.
Masters in computer science, computer engineering or information systems
An Avaloq certified professional with minimum working experience in Avaloq of 8-10 years is preferred

Strong understanding of all business product flows and life cycles - FX, Equity, MM, Cash including complex products like Str.

Products, OTC Derivatives and Funds.
Has implementation experience in large / complex implementations
Strong in Cloud architectures including digital solutions covering UI/UX frameworks
Strong in AWS, Java, RHEL, Window server, AD, Citrix, Oracle, MS SQL
Has leadership mind; Proactive and motivated
