About COEX

COEX OTC Rates desk covers top tier asset managers, hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds providing market analysis, trade idea implementation and anonymous execution.

The desk has the ability to trade client to bank or client to client as a registered swaps dealer. The desk trades Bonds and Swaps in G10 and EM Markets.


Role Overview:


COEX Partners is looking for an experienced professional (minimum 3-5 years) to join a growing and dynamic team covering global hedge funds across both FX and IRS products.

We are looking for someone with experience interacting and dealing with this client base and who is comfortable executing trades in FX cash (G20 and NDF) and FX options.

A sound knowledge of the APAC IRS market is preferable.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Promote TP ICAP as a company and COEX as the division of
  • Work closely with the head of the rates desk and support where necessary
  • Work to achieve your KPI's set by the desk head
  • Ensure good working relationships and communications with all dependant internal functions
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships and make contact with prospective new clients where appropriate
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the products and markets in which you work; actively solicit feedback from industry participants through various means, including trade calls, surveys, industry events, trade shows and conferences
  • Help deliver the desk's business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients
  • Onboard new clients following the correct process with the Client On-Boarding team
  • Assess client needs and financial conditions to identify internal cross selling opportunities
  • Understand pertinent regulation within the evolving regulatory landscape
  • Make sure the desk meets expected regulatory rules on trade advice and idea generation
  • Support a risk and compliance aware culture and comply with group policies
  • Exercise independent judgement and act with integrity, care, skill and diligence to avoid conflicts of interest and escalate issues as appropriate

Experience / Competences:
Knowledge

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of interest rate and FX markets
Experience

  • Ability to generate client commentary and Macro trade ideas
  • A thorough understanding of how the buy side operates and 57 years' experience with HF clients, and an existing client base.
  • The ability to develop and expand the client base.

Skills:


  • Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of IRS and FX
  • Cash, Options and Forwards and experience in execution across the curve and product suite in EM and DM.
