Description
Roles & ResponsibilitiesJob Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Management of the entire custody operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standard.
b) Review custody's team processing of trades, corporate actions, static updates, MIS reporting of the custody business
c) Liaise with Head office custody team, operations team from various branches regarding custody business
d) Provide management support, drives and implement process enhancement and improvements, participate on UAT testing
e) Handle issues and requests from both internal and external stakeholders regarding custody operational enquiries
f) Performance oriented. Promote the development of custody business by working closely with Front office team.
g) Develop and train the team members to improve team's performance and service standards.
Job Requirements:
a) Bachelor's degree with more than 8 years of working experience, preference given to candidate with more than 4 year experience in the securities and fund operations.
b) Knowledge on the duties of a Depository Agent will be added advantage.
c) High adaptability, ability to handle stress in a fast paced environment and efficient team manager.
d) People-oriented with good interpersonal skills, to manage the diversity of team members and coach them for improved performance.
e) Effective communication with good interpersonal, written and verbal skills in both English and Chinese. Must have ability to write in business Chinese in order to work with Chinese speaking customers.
f) Ability to conduct market research and excellent report writing ability.
