    Description

    A modern boutique law firm in Singapore with a proven track record and reputation for providing exceptional results domestically and internationally is looking for a legal associate / senior associate for its Intellectual Property, Media & Technology practice.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for IP (patents, trademarks and designs) prosecutions and managing client IP portfolios
    2. Reviewing and monitoring client IP strategy
    3. Filing and prosecuting applications
    4. Drafting, reviewing and managing correspondence and office actions with examiners, clients and other stakeholders
    5. Assisting with IP related due diligence, including in the context of major IP transactions, corporate mergers and acquisitions and IP litigation matters
    6. Collaborating with other members of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology (IPMT) Practice
    7. For senior associate - managing, reviewing and monitoring client portfolios and working with overseas associates

    Requirements:

    1. Degree from a recognised university
    2. At least 2 years' PQE Singapore qualified lawyer but we are open to candidates with more years of experience and to consider them for more senior roles
    3. Experience in the area of AI / ML will be an advantage
    4. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex issues succinctly, verbally and in writing.
    5. Good organisational skills and resourcefulness.
    6. Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
