Description
The Equities Operations team is part of the wider global Corporate Operations Group and supports the Equities trading business in Macquarie Capital.
The team is responsible for handling post-trade life cycle controls for equities trading in global markets including trade allocation, booking, settlement, funding, reconciliation, and client management.
The team works in close collaboration with other departments across Corporate Operations, Front Office, Finance and Risk.About the role
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Manage the pre-matching, funding and settlement of equities trades on timely basis on behalf of Macquarie Capital and its clients
- Resolve trade exceptions on timely basis while identifying and rectifying root causes
- Work closely with counterparties, onshore and international clients to manage queries and issues on a timely manner
- Provide support services in listing of Structured Warrants and process expiry settlement
- Monitor corporate actions events and ensure proper collection and distribution of entitlementsManage escalation of potential issues or incidents to key stakeholders
- Management of KRIs and KPIs in line with agreed targets
- Support transformation of processes to enhance controls, efficiencies, client experience and comply with market changes
- Assist wider Equities Operations team in Singapore to support daily business activities for Middle Office & Back Office where required
You will have a strong knowledge of post trade equities operations ideally in a settlement's capacity with around 3 years' experience of control and risk frameworks within banking operations.
You are ideally someone who can drive and manage change to successful outcomes and can demonstrate experience in managing stakeholders.
You will have excellent communication skills and can navigate challenging scenarios demonstrating an ability to identify solutions.About the Corporate Operations Group
