Your Role


The Logistics Specialist is primarily responsible for timely and proper receipt, storage, release of materials and test articles to ensure the full functionality of the Singapore BioReliance Biologics Operations Lab.

This role will require close collaboration internally with Operations and externally with Suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.


This role will have potential to develop into a broader role as Logistics Expert in Singapore and further develop to a wide regional job scope in APAC Biologics Operations.

All jobs to be performed will receive training upon onboarding

What You Do
The position holder is accountable for performing the following functions independently, with mínimal guidance:
Core

  • Receive, check and process test article and/or materials daily in line with appropriate quality procedures.
  • Raise purchase request and necessarily follow up for material receipt and payment.
  • Perform cycle counting based on regular intervals defined by internal SOP including TAR, GMP store and Biorepository
  • Ensure sufficient stock of inventory to support business operations.
  • Perform intersite shipment of material via internal transportation or courier.
  • Maintain full system traceability for inventory through inventory management (receipts, storage, location transfer, shipment).
  • Run monthly Matrix report, Discrepancy report, trend analysis and follow up actions.
  • Respond as surge resource as required for TAR and Stores.
  • Technical author for SOPs and Work instruction.
Support

  • Coordinate facilities, equipment support and validation teams to ensure TAR, Biorepository and GMP store is aligned to appropriate levels of facility control (security, access and monitoring).
  • Support improvement initiatives as agreed with line management to streamline processes, make cost savings and reduce waste.
  • Facility support pest control, waste management, safety equipment check.
  • Support Prevent Maintenance activities for facilities.
Quality

  • Complete daily clean in TAR, GMP store and Biorepository based on SOP Cleaning requirement.
  • Provide appropriate quality documentation/electronic records to ensure TAR, Biorepository and GMP stores activity is operated in line with BioReliance Quality systems/regulatory compliance (SOP/Change Control).
  • Maintain all records and archive as appropriate following the appropriate SOPs
  • Support the department with preparation for Client/Regulatory Audits.
  • Handle events investigations & CAPA for designated area.
  • Ensure registration of all suppliers in approved suppliers listing
Projects

  • Lead and deliver function projects. Support site level projects
  • Leads simple sitelevel projects.
  • Lead as Change Owner for related projects. Propose and implement simple continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are

  • 2 years of working experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or life science or logistics industry for Diploma holders
  • 1 year of working experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or life science or logistics industry for Degree holders.
  • Relevant industry experience in a (GxP) pharmaceutical, biotechnical or medical device environment is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of operation of BSL2 Lab environment is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated capability to lead simple site level projects.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead as change owner for functional projects
  • Good understanding of all ERP and LIMS systems.
  • Developing as Events lead investigator and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good problem solving, customer service and planning skills.
  • Good team player embracing multicultural, multilingual and multitime zone work environment.
