Description

The Events Coordinator in a restaurant is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events and private functions hosted at the restaurant.

This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to ensure that events run smoothly and meet or exceed customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning:Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
Develop event concepts and themes that align with the restaurant's brand and the client's vision.
Create event proposals, including cost estimates, menus, and logĂ­stical details.
Coordinate event timelines, schedules, and activities.

Logistics and Coordination:Coordinate with various departments within the restaurant (such as kitchen, service, and maintenance) to ensure seamless execution of events.
Arrange for necessary equipment, decorations, and any special requirements requested by clients.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of services.

Client Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the event planning process.
Provide regular updates to clients regarding event progress, changes, and any necessary adjustments.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and last-minute requests professionally and promptly.

Menu Planning and Catering:Collaborate with the culinary team to design event-specific menus that cater to diverse preferences and dietary restrictions.
Ensure timely coordination of food and beverage service during events.
Oversee menu tastings and adjustments as needed.

Budget Management:Create and manage event budgets, ensuring adherence to both client requirements and restaurant financial goals.
Track expenses and revenues associated with each event, and provide regular financial reports to management.

On-Site Event Management:Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring all elements are in place and running smoothly.
Address any issues that arise during events and make real-time decisions to maintain a positive guest experience.

Post-Event Evaluation:Collect feedback from clients and guests to assess event satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze event outcomes against objectives and make recommendations for enhancing future events.
