Job Description and Qualifications
You will report to the Principal / CEO and your duties will include:

1. JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide strong leadership, direction, and management to the team members, fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
Assess and manage financial and operational risks, implementing internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses, providing insights into the school's financial health and supporting informed decisionmaking.
Take responsibility for finance management, cash flow planning, and payment allocation to maintain the school's financial stability.
Lead the preparation of the school's budget by collaborating with department heads. Monitor and control actual variances to the budget.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial laws, preparing tax filings and effectively liaising with auditors and regulatory authorities.
Monitor cash flow, optimise working capital, and execute strategies to enhance cash flow generation, improving liquidity and financial stability.
Offer strategic recommendations to the management team based on a deep understanding of financial data and insights.
Work closely with the management to draft and/or review standard operating procedures that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in line with the school's objectives.
Oversee credit and collection initiatives to ensure that credit policies are enforced throughout the school, and timely collections are made.
Facilitate interdepartmental communication and provide constructive ideas, recommendations, and solutions to managers whose roles impact operations.
Undertake other adhoc tasks as assigned by the management team.
