Description

Join our Quant Strategy team in an exciting front-office role based in Singapore that supports our global Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange businesses.


By joining the team, you will play a crucial role in the research and implementation of financial models for derivative valuation and trading.

You will be providing quantitative expertise to traders, structurers, and marketers - adding value to the conversation and helping drive our franchise forward.

You will also work with other areas of the organisation on model development and approvals. Additionally, you will help develop and maintain our quantitative models library.


As part of a highly respected and supportive team, you will be given responsibility and the opportunity to learn and develop from an early stage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain inhouse model libraries for pricing, risk management and analytics
  • Provide quantitative expertise to various trading desks in Fixed Income and Currencies
  • Work closely with internal functions to ensure appropriate model implementation

Qualification:

  • Must have completed a PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g. maths, physics or engineering), and exposure to stochastic calculus and numeric methods
  • Must have experience/knowledge in interest rate and/or FX products and modelling, including curve construction, pricing models and risks (prior work experience in Asia or Latin America emerging markets preferred)
  • Must have strong programming experience in C++ and/or python
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills to communicate with stakeholders across all levels
  • Prior experience working in a front office Quant role preferred
