As our new Operations Assistant, you will be working out of our office in Singapore and you will be reporting to our Country Manager.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assisting Country Manager in liaising with operational stakeholders encompassing but not limited to shipping agents, workboat owners, bunker barges, port authorities and subcontractors.
  • Assisting Country Manager and other local stakeholders to ensure operational documentation e.g. procedures, risk assessments are continuously uptodate for ISO audits
  • Liaising with external parties and arranging any operational related trainings; ensuring validity of certifications and passes of personnel.
  • Be consistently aware of, and adhere to, the company's safety management system (policies, safe working procedures and risk assessments)
  • Updating of operations management system

We particularly expect that you are:

  • Self-driven and able to work with mínimal supervision
  • Organised and meticulous
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and react quickly to changes
  • Experienced in the shipping or general maritime business; previous work in shipping agency role is preferred
  • An allround team player who takes pride in understanding all aspects of the role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package
Because our company operates globally, it is a requirement that you are fluent in the English language.
