Roles & Responsibilities

The Team Leader(Public Area) supervises and inspects cleaning of all public spaces, service areas, guest corridors, and all back of the house areas and Public Areas as assigned. He/she is also responsible for planning coordination and administration of public area operations.

Our Expectations:

Assist in overseeing all external contractors who perform public area cleaning duties in the hotel.
Ensure continual effective pest control system is in place to rid the hotel of all vermin. Continually monitor and address any pest situations in the hotel immediately.
Assist in ensuring the protection and maintenance for all equipment used in the Housekeeping Department.
Ensure the completion of all work orders pertaining to Housekeeping Department.
Assist in overseeing all maintenance of plants, gardening and landscaping operations of the hotel, including floral arrangements.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of an environmentally friendly approach to all aspects of the Housekeeping Department.
Regularly inspect public areas and check the different stations withint public areas while closely monitoring all events.
Check Guest Room Ambassadors (Public Area) trolleys and pantries regularly to ensure its properly arranged and maintained, checks of Public Area storage space/pantries to ensure upkeep.
Ensure the protection and maintenance for all equipment used in the Housekeeping Department and ensure the completion of all work orders pertaining to Housekeeping.
Conduct performance appraisal review of Guest Service Ambassadors (Public Area) and provide constructive feedback and coach for improvements, including those of outsourced vendors.
Ensure proper record keeping of all Housekeeping documentation.

You should have an eye for detail, well organized and high level of flexibility to adapt to ever changing requirements and needs of customers.
