Description

Key Responsibilities
Design and Execute Experiments, Data Interpretation, and Analysis

Propose and design synthesis targets related to linker payload molecules and intermediates
Perform hands on laboratory work to synthesize target molecules and carry out quality control analysis
Analyse experimental results and make recommendations

Documentation and Laboratory Operations

Maintain detailed documentation of research and protocols
Prepare reports or summaries of synthetic experiments for patent and publications as needed
Perform laboratory management duties including but not limited to procurement, inventory management, laboratory equipment maintenance
Ensure compliance to standard operating procedure, inhouse safety measures and other industry practices

Qualifications

B.S. or Masters in Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, or related discipline with prior laboratory research experience
Possess a firm understanding of synthetic organic chemistry and/or analytical chemistry
Some experience with modern synthetic techniques in a research setting
Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Selfmotivated with a proactive attitude
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members in a fastpaced biotech startup

Additional Details

Work Environment:
This is a full-time position based in a fully equipped research facility.

The applicant will work closely with a collaborative team of scientists and researchers dedicated to advancing antibody discovery efforts for use in therapeutics and diagnostics.

The applicant will report to the Head of Chemistry.
