We are presently looking for a top-notch professional to join us as a Vice President, Product Owner.

Principal Responsibilities

Accountable for overseeing the project life cycle, ensuring governance, scope, resources, timeline, budget, and risks are well managed. Focus on delivering campaigns, funds, day-2 tasks, and ad hoc projects.
Break down intricate features into user stories on a structured team backlog, prioritizing tasks accordingly.
Create concise and well-defined user stories and epics, ensuring alignment with key objectives and clear articulation of scope, acceptance criteria, and completion definitions.
Ensure transparency of the Team backlog to all stakeholders at the required level.
Ensure compliance of all backlog items with relevant requirements, including regulatory approvals, governance, operational risk, non-functional requirements, and business requirements for market implementation and adoption.
Take responsibility for the outcomes of the Agile Team's activities, acknowledging completed work as effective.

Requirements

Positive attitude and strong team player.
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in managing all product life cycle stages.
Experience in the life insurance industry is advantageous.
Possess a blend of business and technical expertise with a track record of driving complex projects successfully.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including 'C' level executives, and possessing influencing and communication skills to drive effective outcomes within challenging timelines.
Ability to thrive in demanding environments.
Proficiency in Agile Methodology and Ways of Working to foster a culture of achievement.
Knowledge of tools like Confluence and Jira.
