Description

Report to the Senior Counsel within Group Legal and Compliance.

You will provide legal support on matters relating to global Group businesses and their applicable regulations:

Ensure legal, reputational and other key risks are mitigated.
Support compliance frameworks and processes.
Keep abreast of, and advise on, legal and regulatory developments locally and overseas (Asia, Europe and US).
Review, draft and negotiate contracts for regulated instruments, including service level agreements, licensing agreements, rulebooks and vendor agreements.
Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders including senior management, market regulators, vendors and external counsel.

Requirements:

Degree in law
5+ years' experience.
Experience in corporate and commercial matters at a wellregarded law firm.
Inhouse experience in investment banking, trading, brokerage, etc, either in legal or compliance, useful but not a must.
Knowledge of Singapore's regulatory regime and ideally global regulations, or willing to learn.
