A product specialist is responsible for building relationship with key stakeholders, managing the assigned product portfolio and achieving/ exceeding annual sales quota:

  • Ventilator
  • Anesthesia Machine
  • Advance Hamodynamic Monitoring
  • Intra-Aortic Baloon Pump
  • Extracorporeal Life Support
  • Cardiac Surgery

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide pre and postsales support: product demonstration, training and teaching materials that cater to different group of users (e.g. Nurses, Doctors, Respiratory Therapists and Perfusionists)
  • Develop and execute an inservice program for the users to master the operation of the devices and choice of functions
  • Provide clinical support to existing installed base (onsite troubleshooting, training and point of contact for any clinical related enquiries)
  • Plan and organize device trials in the hospitals
  • Support tender participation and presentation
  • Analyze and report market trends and competitor activities regularly and timely in accordance with internal procedures
  • Develop and maintain Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in respective speciality area
  • Manage conference participation and product exhibition
  • Organise regular customer educational events such as webinar and workshops
  • Attend to adhoc clinical support calls or onsite troubleshooting outside office hours
  • Perfor all other duties assigned by the Company and/or Manager
  • Strictly adhere to company's ethics and compliance guidelines

Requirements;

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably in Biomedical Science, Engineering, Marketing or Nursing.
  • 3 to 5 years of solid working experience in a similar role for the meidcal device industry
  • Prior sales experience in Intensive Care will be an added advantage
  • Willing to work on some weekends to attend conferences and exhibitions and provide support to customers when requested
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player with proactive and postive attitude
