1. Ticketing Manager

Job Scope:
Responsible for all ticketing-related matters for the Festival, including:

  • Lead the communications with ticketing agent(s) and SGIFF web agency on ticketing matters. working closely with the Marketing team.
  • Ensure updates of information are accurate and completed in the ticketing system, screening schedule and event details (synopsis & visuals etc).
  • Work closely with SGIFF Marketing Team to ensure accurate and updated information is provided for website and social media platforms for filM/Film schedule updates.
  • Manage ticketing operations, bookings and complimentary invites, fulfilling bulk bookings and partner/sponsor requests etc.
  • Monitor the daily sales/ticketing reports to ensure accuracy and for team updates.
  • To promote and manage group/bulk bookings to schools, institutions and corporations.
  • Preparing the final ticket sales report, ensuring the accuracy of reports for settlement.
  • Ensure SGIFF team is fully briefed on current SMMs (if any), so they can assist the FOH venues teams if necessary
  • Supervise Front of House and Volunteer Coordinator
  • Work with the Front of House Coordinator to prepare, pack and distribute the necessary collateral and merchandise for each Festival venue.
  • Work with Front of House & Volunteers Coordinator and the respective Venue Managers and oversee the coordination and management of FOH operations for all Festival venues. FOH operations include setup, ticketing, merchandise sales, crowd control, ushering, postshow Q&A sessions, Audience Choice Award and feedback forms.
  • At end of Festival, ensure proper handover of FOH reports & monies to SGIFF Hospitality & Office Manager.

Requirements:


  • At least a Diploma in Arts Management, Media, Mass Communications, Marketing, Hospitality or equivalent, with minimum 3 years of experience in setting up and managing ticketing and frontofhouse operations for large scale events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in other languages a plus.
  • Driven, proactive, able to work independently and yet a good team player.
  • Meticulous and detailed.
  • Responsible, organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Confident in interacting with all levels of people.
  • Interest in film would be preferred, but not a prerequisite

Period of Engagement
:
August to 31 January 2024.
Part time in August, full time from September to 15 December. There will be a two week unpaid break from December 15 to Dec 31 December 2023

SGIFF currently has a hybrid working policy in place with time split between the office and working from home.

Closer to the festival dates and various events, more time will be required at the SGIFF office or at various venues.

The project fee offered will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
