- Acting as a trusted advisor to sales and PFD colleagues in key AP countries, providing guidance on planning, executing, and evaluating portfolio development activities.
- Establishing yourself as the recognized owner and thought leader for several Simcenter's key simulation and test solution domains.
- Collaborating with cross-functional multicultural teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to develop tailored solutions that meet the needs of customers in specific industries.
- Gaining a deep understanding of the market position of Simcenter in the AP Zone, including the problems it addresses and the business value it delivers to customers. This understanding will help you adapt sales messaging for campaigns and initiatives, recognizing that messaging may vary across industries.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers within TOP20 target opportunities and new logo accounts, stakeholders are including their executives, VPs, and Directors.
- Keeping a close eye on market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Working independently on assignments and pursuits, employing your problem-solving skills and applying best practices.
- Bachelor/Master's Degree in Engineering or MBA
- Excellent communication in English plus Japanese/Korean or Chinese
- Excellent presentation skills
- Familiar with Salesforce or sales data analytics will be an added advantage
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business/portfolio development for Simulation & Test Software (Simcenter)
- Presales/Technical Consultant experience in the similar portfolios will be preferred

We are looking for APAC Portfolio Development Manager for our Simcenter portfolio. As part of the Zone portfolio development (PFD) organization, this role will drive Siemens XceleratorTM SimcenterTM portfolio through the identification and execution of the zone GTM strategy centred on identifying land and expand opportunities resulting in pipeline/revenue for new customers. Simcenter is a comprehensive simulation and test portfolio within the Siemens Xcelerator business platform of software, hardware and services. It covers a wide range of engineering tools and methodologies, including system simulation, CFD, CAE, data acquisition and analytics, intelligent design exploration, workflow automation, and engineering process management. To excel in this role, you should possess a proactive and collaborative mindset, along with a strong background in business development within the Simulation and Test industry.
