I am a 3rd year university student pursuing my Bachelor in Engineering for Mechanical Engineering and Product Design at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow School of Art. 

Experience

  • Praj Enterprises Pte. Ltd. UI Design Intern (Jun 2021 - Sep 2021) Singapore
    • Collaborated with the design and marketing department to create the company’s new e-commerce website.
    • Designed website appearance, colour scheme and banners
    • Adhered to tight deadlines by publishing the first version of the website in 3 months. 4x greater efficiency and time management than usual e-commerce website development 
  • Handprints E-Nable Prosthetics Designer (Sept 2022 - Present) Glasgow 
    • Designed wrist-controlled prosthetics using Fusion 360 free of charge for recipients with no access to such resources
    • Worked in a team of 4; taking direction from the head of the prosthetics department 
    • Communicated with recipients to understand their functional and aesthetic requirements 
    • Supported fellow team members when repairing and adapting components
  • Face Wedge Part Time Sales Associate (Apr 2021 - Jun 2021) Singapore
    • Assisted customers with locating and choosing face masks within the store 
    • Exceeded sales targets by 2% during the third quarter by understanding the needs of the target audience and communicating compassionately with customers 
    • Learnt how to talk to new people, listen to the needs of customers and deal with rejection
    • Organised customer sales and orders, ensuring all products are appropriately logged and entered
