Ahamad Fawzan Jaufer

My fascination with numbers and the stories they tell led me to pursue an academic field that felt right for me: Accounting and Finance. Through my courses, I received core-level training in accounting techniques, busines strategies, financial management and taxation and their application in a business environment. 

This was later strengthened by my hands-on experiences with John Keels Holding. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, my fascination held true, and I am now even more capable of seeing the bigger picture that the numbers tell. 

As I begin and grow my career, I look forward to leveraging on my knowledge and skills and using them as a springboard for even more learning in the real world.

Utilised SAP FI-CO in preparing monthly financial reports. Performed a wide range of accounting activities for portfolio of companies ranging from accounts payable and receivable, material management, general ledger to fixed asset modules. Assisted with accounting procedures for portfolio of companies – bank and balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting. Generated Related Party Transactions (RPT) for inter-companies. Processed FX valuations for companies. Supported identification and development of new processes, analytical tools and reports to meet financial reporting needs. 

• Engineered a new transfer method that integrated SAP and online banking, Crafted new SOP for balance sheet preparation informed by client needs. Maintained a high quality control (QC) score. 
• Developed and conducted SAP training and assessments for staff. Recognised as main resource for resolution of SAP-FICO issues. 
• Notable deployments include:
o Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives. Gained exposure to resort-wide operations with focus on accounting processes. 
o DHL Internal Audit. Conducted internal controls audit, identified deficiencies and generated audit report. 
o JKH Group Finance. Learned consolidation process for group companies’ accounts. Developed notes on financial statements for use in quarterly based figures. Supported Annual Report development. 
o JKH Group Tax & Treasury. Received training on group taxation and policies as well as overall treasury processes.
