 A final year Arts Business Management (ABM) student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic who believes the arts can positively impact an individual.

As someone who is naturally inquisitive, I want to know the whys and hows of the matter. I value the importance of learning, and my time at Ngee Ann Polytechnic has been nothing short of amazing. Given my varied interest, I learnt both creative and technical subjects. As a budding creative, I am professionally competent in Adobe programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator. As a business management student, I employ skills such as project and human capital management which are instrumental in collaborating with a team.

The hallmark of my achievement would be my time as a president of a society. I wasn’t the loudest child in the room and being a president was miles out of my comfort zone. I oversaw and executed various events with my members. As a president, connecting and collaborating with various parties was paramount for a successful event. From events for the student body to organising the freshmen orientation program, I had the chance to put what I've learnt in my diploma into reality. I did not do these alone and as a president, it taught me that being and working with the team is already the first step to achieving a goal. 

These experiences have shaped me to be a proficient communicator as well as a visionary individual. Driven and passionate about the arts, I am at my best when I can design and implement solutions to transform and create difference on a larger scale.

I am someone that loves to get my hands on many things. As an intern at the Affordable Art Fair, I equipped many skills such as operations & marketing. In the area of operations, I conceptualised spaces at the fair and assisted the fair manager in stand building and logistics procurement. In marketing, I curate contents and copywrite Instagram posts. I am well-adept at many areas of the job. 

I am a recent Arts Business Management graduate from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I hope to venture further into the humanities in the areas of Linguistics or Arts Management.
