A motivated and conscientious Lab Technician with rich professional experience of over 9 years, striving to ensure that the tasks are performed properly as per the standard rules and regulations, making sure that the lab develops and employs a quality system approach, inspecting and testing procedures, providing accurate or reliable test results, maintaining records of laboratory information, and maintaining laboratory productivity by monitoring work areas.

As Lab Technician, I work in a microbiology lab, determine the presence of micro-organisms in supplied samples; determine the anti-microbial resistance of products and the efficacy of preservatives over thousands of customers products. I detect the morphology characteristics of microorganisms via microscopic examination

My other job duties include the following:
Preserve laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders and verifying receipts.
Work in a microbial lab and check customer products to see whether their products got any contamination; the antimicrobial resistance and efficacy of preservatives in their products
Resolve problems by examining and evaluating data and selecting corrective steps.
Sustain chemical inventory and hazardous waste to comply with laboratory safety and OSHA regulations.
