Alexis has been in psychotherapy practice since 2018, working with preteens, teens and adults.
Her clinical specialties are in Self-harm/ injury, Suicidal ideation & Relational issues in preteens and teens; and Chronic anxiety, Attachment Trauma & Men’s Mental Health in adults.
Alexis is trained in Schema Therapy, Chairwork Dialogues and Emotion-focused Therapy. When appropriate, she incorporates expressive therapies with her clients. Alexis conducts therapy sessions in English & Mandarin Chinese.
Experience
Alexis is trained in Schema Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy and CBT. She also uses Chairwork dialogues and expressive therapies whenever appropriate. She sees youths with chronic anxiety and low moods, self-harm/ injury and relational issues.
With adults, Alexis’ clinical interests are in attachment trauma, chronic anxiety and men’s mental health.
Education
Alexis holds a Master of Counselling (Australia). She is also a Registered Counsellor and Clinical Member with the Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC) and Registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Since 2018, Alexis has been counselling adolescents and adults in schools, community and private settings.
