Started tax career with Deloitte S'pore for 7 years in total which gave a strong foundation on tax knowledge and application; and where tax networks relationship building commenced.

Join the commercial world and have tax oversight on businesses in Asia Pacific, Brazil and Canada. Lead tax planning and compliance in key locations like Indonesia, China, Brazil, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong.  Involved in a capital project of US$3 billion to advise and mitigate indirect tax exposure and achieved substantial tax savings of approx US$250m.  Led and closed tax audit in Asia Pacific and Brazil with minimal tax payments. Handled internal group restructuring and addressed indirect share transfer implications. Performed tax risk assessment and management analysis on tax initiatives. Have oversight and lead cross-border transaction formation to ensure arm's length principles are met for tax efficiency.
