Ameera Johari

A recent biology graduate from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia seeking for opportunity to enhance skills as well as experience in biomedical field. With a strong academic background and a team player mindset, eager to learn and contribute positively as a biologist. 

1. R&D Intern, Cryocord Sdn. Bhd. (2022). Main duties performed included assisted in numerous lab techniques and protocols including SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, protein, nucleic acid extractions and stem cell culture. Assessed the immunogenic reaction of different cell lines in the exposure of MSC-EVs. Assisted in laboratory maintenance and inventory and have collaborated in a team of four in patients’ recruitment for clinical trial.
2. Sales Assistant, MIXXO , Parkson Group (2019). Main duties performed included ensured excellent customer satisfaction through great sales service. Maintained good store condition and visual merchandising standards. Actively involved in strategizing marketing plan to achieve target sales and were responsible for store inventory management.

1. BSc in Biology (Hons), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2023). CGPA: 3.93. Relevant courses included Genetic Engineering (+ Lab), Toxicology, Molecular Biotechnology, Genomics and Proteomics, Enzymology, Immunology, Biocomputation and Bioinformatics, Synthetic Biology, Cancer Sciences.
2. Foundation in Pharmacy, International Islamic University Malaysia (2016). CGPA: 3.75.
