Looking for a hands on and challenging position as a Research Scientist/Assay Development Scientist in the medical field specifically
in the areas of Research & Development (R&D), Pathology and Molecular Diagnostics (Genomics/Proteomics/Metabolomics), and to be able to utilize and master skills in a laboratory and clinical setting.

I have a bachelors degree in Psychology with a Minor in biomedical Sciences, Whereafter i was enrolled into the 3rd year of medical school in Ukraine. I had to take a gap in order to work and save up money to continue funding my education but however i will not be able to go back to Ukraine due to the situation there right now. I am enrolled in a Masters Degree in Biomedicine under the University of Greenwich (Distance Learning).

March 2022- Present, Transcend Limitomics/Visiting Researcher for Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology 

Tasked with Optimising Novel Diagnostic Technology Developed by Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) so that it may be used Clinically in Labs. My job involved modifications and optimisation of reagents, protocols, targets, further research, validating and quality control and analysis post-optimisation. In addition to working in existing technologies i have also heavily researched and suggested many potential novel technologies that can be developed for Rapid Diagnostics of Infectious Pathogens and Oncogenes/Biomarkers specifically in Genomics.

Medical Technologist II - Research Assistant

Planning and Executing Regular Validations of instruments and reagents for diagnostic use. Performing all benchwork single-handedly for research projects such as that of new diagnostic method studies. I have also become competent in Data Collection, Data Management, Statistics and Conclusive Analysis of Data Sets in addition to giving presentations during regular meetings.

Medical Technologist II - TEAM LEAD (Molecular; COVID-19)
NOVEMBER 2020, Parkway Laboratories

Collect and prepare specimens and perform laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. Verify, record and report lab results on all performed tests. Ensure compliance with government requirements, hospital policies and laboratory procedures, including maintaining the cleanliness of lab equipment, instruments and work area. As a Team Lead i was tasked with training, overlooking and maintaining my team members competencies in various areas of the diagnostic Process. I have also largely contributed to the planning of workflow which proved to minimize human errors and placed accountability and trace-ability as a focus, thus enabling rectifying errors to be rapid and accurate.
