Ben Kum

I graduated from the Singapore Institute of Technology in 2020, and have since been in the Hotel Real Estate industry. I am currently a Development Analyst with Pan Pacific Hotels Group, and mainly run the feasibility studies and market research for the team. I am also in-charge of all development marketing related matters, which mainly includes collaterals development for conferences and ensuring brand compliance with pitch and decks. Prior to my tenure in Pan Pacific Hotels Group, I was an analyst for HVS Asia Pacific, where I mostly dealt with valuations, feasibility and operator selections. I have since assisted in the publication of three publications:  HVS Hotel Operator Guide 2021, Market Snapshot: Asia Pacific 2021 and HVI 2021.

I have been in hospitality for numerous years, but have only recently stepped into the world of hotel real estate. Having worked with HVS and Pan Pacific Hotels Group, it had really spiked my interest in the sector.

I graduated from Singapore Institute of Technology with a honors degree in Hospitality Business, specialising in Hotel Real Estate and Investment. I am currently pursuing my e-Cornell certification in Hotel Real Estate and Investment and Asset Management.
