Celine Chung

My journey began with a camera in one hand, and a calculator in the other. My attempts at reconciling seemingly-opposing interests in photography and mathematics from a young age shaped a unique perspective where creativity meets data-driven decision making. 

As I progress in my academic journey as a third-year student pursuing a dual degree in Business Analytics and Business Administration, I hope to further my story-telling skills and empathy gleaned from the arts against a strong statistical background to thrive at the intersection of business and technology. 

Looking ahead, I am eager to blend user-centric design thinking and a deep analytical mindset to create meaningful tech products and optimise business processes and solutions which create value for customers and businesses alike.

• Prototyped and developed process flow for AI financials processing tool using GPT API and Python (Pandas) as part of FinTech analytics platform to potentially increase investment team’s productivity by 80%
• Implemented sprint tracking system in Notion and KPI reporting to monitor 6-member engineering team’s progress at daily stand-ups and retrospectives which improved sprint planning accuracy and thus sprint velocity by 30%

• Performed statutory audits for 6 major banks including BOA and LGT in KYC/CDD, Trade Finance/Violations, and AML/CFT risk, by documenting workpapers through qualitative data collection across over 200 samples 
• Drafted over 20 audit report observations and communicated closely with clients’ internal audit teams to refine them which resulted in acceptance of our proposed improvements to compliance control procedures
