Rishika Banka

Hello, my name is Rishika Banka, and I am excited to apply for the Software Developer Intern position. As a current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, I have gained experience in various programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++. I have also completed several projects that involve developing web applications and mobile apps. Through my academic and personal projects, I have developed a keen interest in software development, and I am eager to contribute my skills and learn from the experts in the industry. I believe my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team make me a great fit for this role.

• DigitAge, Co-Founder (May 2020 – Sept 2021) : Developed tailor-made websites for 10+ companies and social organisations; received positive feedback from 100% of the clients.  Initiated drives and campaigns to increase digital footprint, donated all earnings to charitable organisations.
• MathVision, Part Time Tutor (Dec 2021 – Dec 2022) : Tutored high-school students on various physics topics (Grade 11 and Grade 12).
• Teaching Assistant , Physical World, Freshmore Course (Sept 2022 – Dec 2022) : Served as a teaching assistant for a physics course on mechanics. Taught a cohort of 50 students and conducted consults outside office hours.

• Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore  (Sept 2021 – May 2025) : Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science and Design), Honours. Current GPA: 4.60/5.00.
•  Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, Kolkata, India (Apr 2007 – Mar 2021) : Grade 12: 97.6% with proficiency in Mathematics and Computer Science. Received the Prabhat Khabar Award for placing 3rd at the school level. Received the Principals’ Samman and Special Achievement award for meritorious performance and contributions to the school.
