Charmaine Lee

Seeking a challenging career in a progressive organisation that provides an opportunity to showcase my expertise and expand my knowledge in economics, data analytics and design thinking.

Starting the job as a temp staff with the Programme Development Team in 2018, I assumed the role of an Assistant Manager’s role in April 2019 and was promoted to Manager in April 2020 with the Funds and Programme Management Team. I am currently with the Strategic Development Team. The roles and responsibilites of my latest role is below: 

• Assess needs, recommendations, test and develop ideas for nation-wide programmes to address gaps in the industry
• Optimise, improve and evaluate the success of existing programmes/ products/ processes to ensure that they meet intended objectives and remain relevant
• Propagate Design Thinking as a way of working through mentoring project teams on its principles and techniques – the concept of Understand, Design and Test (UDT)
• Conduct pre-design/ pre-review research through data gathering and analysis to understand and empathise with unmet needs
• Lead in Design Thinking session to analyse the end-to-end business processes, create and maintain value models
• Develop and implement viable prototypes
• Establish a monitoring mechanism to evaluate the performance for continuous improvement

While I had finished University in 2018 with a Bachelors in Economics (Second Upper). I was given a chance to improve my know-how and expertise on Big Data and Data Analysis with my current company, after a 2-year programme with Nanyang Polytechnic, I received a Specialist Diploma in Big Data and Business Analytics in Sep 2020.
