Cheok Bing En

Hello! I am Bing En, an undergraduate student from Singapore pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Medicine at Monash University, Clayton. 

I am currently seeking part time employment as a tutor under any tuition centre that aims to nuture their students to achieve academic success. 

Having 2 years of experience delivering lessons as a private tutor who specializes in Biology and Mathematics and 1+ years of experience as a classroom facilitator at Woodlands Gardens School (School for the Intellectually Disabled), I am able to teach students across primary, secondary, and pre-tertiary levels of education.

I pride myself for being a friendly and patient tutor who works hard during and after lessons to deliver quality lessons for my students!

• 1st person ever from the CMA Institute to pass Grade 1 Mental Arithmetic (the highest level achievable) in 2009 and 1st person ever to achieve Dan Level 5 in Mental Arithmetic
• Achieved 1st in the 2nd Abacus Arithmetic National Competition in 2009
• Achieved 1st in the 1st Mental Arithmetic National Competition in 2008

As a private tutor, I possess 2 years of experience mentoring multiple students in the subjects of Biology and Mathematics, some of which have seen an improvement in grades from a D to an A in their examinations.

Having also taught as a volunteer at Woodlands Gardens School for 2 years, I have experience engaging large classes of students. With these students suffering from intellectual disabilities,  I had to be patient in my delivery and always be alert to any struggling students to prevent them from falling behind their peers.
