I am an avid and passionate self-taught baker that loves to explore new bakery products. Having practical experience in related fields of bakery products, frozen foods, and meat substitutes through an internship in AB Enzymes and Tee Yih Jia Manufacturing has piqued my interest further and established my strong passion for the bakery and confectionery products.

Experience
AB Enzymes GmbH
Performed extensive testing and analysis of enzymes in bakery applications, including bread, cakes, noodles, and biscuits. Assisted in equipment testing, trial standardization, and sensory evaluation of bakery products. Kept abreast of Global and Asia Pacific market and bakery trends, as well as enzymes in bakery market.
Final Year Project: Application of enzymes in high-ratio sponge cake, analyzing the effects of individual enzymes, combination enzymes, and various temperature and time parameters on cake quality.
Temasek Polytechnic
Engaged in research and development of high protein gel and low GI beverage as part of an industry project. Performed trials and testing, troubleshooting, and conducted sensory evaluation with 50 elderlies. Successfully produced products that meet the required claims and formulation was adopted by the company.
Tee Yih Jia Manufacturing
Assisted in the trial application and shelf-life testing of frozen confectioneries. Conducted a starch study in frozen dim sum sauce and report writing. Conducted pilot scale training for new employees and assisted in manufacturing plant operations.
