Cynthia Mariyal

I have gained extensive experience being an early childhood teacher for 18 years. I have held multiple roles as a vice principal, senior teacher, English language, Tamil teacher, and mentor. I am also a devoted teaching professional with the gift to reach each and every student and instill a love for learning. I have a proven ability for offering individualized support and ensure all student’s unique needs and goals are met. I am a hard-working, motivated educator with strong communication and interpersonal skills. I always ensure to build positive working relationships within the school and community. I have mentored beginning teachers into the profession and supported their professional and personal growth of them. I have also taught both English and Tamil Language for children. I have gained the experience of teaching a variety of curriculums such as the Reggio Emilia approach, Play-based curriculum, The National Curriculum that develops the Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) framework, and Thematic based curriculum and achieve the intended learning outcomes. I would like to impart this knowledge and hope to be part of your team and progress my career further.

I am a strong believer that education plays a major role in the future of every individual child and it starts with the curriculum taught by the schools.  I  have been in the Early childhood sector for more then 18 years and have obtained my Bachelor's degree in early childhood. I am very familiar with a variety of curriculum and I stay updated on all new information and technology associated with education.
