Daniel Lim

Second-year Computer Science student at the National University of Singapore (NUS). My passion lies in building interesting software to solve problems and it was this interest that led me to where I am today, pursuing a BComp in Computer Science in NUS. My first year at NUS has helped me build my programming foundation in concepts such as data structures and algorithms and in programming methodology.

My foundational computer science classes have taught me the importance of sticking to the basics even as I move on to learn about and understand more complex ideas in the field of computer science. It has been immensely helpful in aiding me in learning new concepts.

This year, I intend to continue polishing up my skills and learn new concepts relevant to my desired career as a software engineer. I also hope to be able to complete relevant internships so that I am able to gain real-work experience and gain valuable insights into how the industry really is like.
