Experience

(May ‘21 - Jan ‘23)

Public Practice is a social enterprise founded by the Greater London Authority to place Architects into public sector organisations in need of new skills and expertise, enhancing their capacity to improve the quality, equality and sustainability of places.

I was placed at Harlow and Gilston Garden Town (HGGT), a partnership of five councils, delivering an ‘adaptable, healthy, sustainable and innovative Garden Town’, consisting of 23,000 new homes and accompanying physical, economic and community infrastructure.

Architect/Urban Designer - Project Orange

(July ‘17 - April 21’)

I joined Project Orange to work with my diploma tutor, James Soane, primarily on projects In Thamesmead for Peabody, along with housing projects, hotels and competitions worldwide. I worked from Part II architectural assistant to Project architect.

Architectural Assistant - Citizens Design Bureau

(Sept ‘15 - Sept ‘16)

I worked throughout the first year of my diploma on projects in arts and cultural fields.

Architectural/Urban Design Assistant - Stride Treglown

(Feb ‘14 - Nov ‘14)

Working at one of the UK’s largest architectural practices allowed me to take part in a huge range of projects, around the world. Selected projects include: the Royal Holloway University, University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Torbay Masterplans.

(Mar ‘13 - Aug ‘13)

For six months, I worked in Shanghai on architectural competitions around the world and a series of concept fashion stores. My drawings for one of these stores featured on Dezeen.
