Debdipa Mazumder

Ms (Deb) is an ex-adjunct English language and literature teacher who has been teaching for two decades. Trained from the University of Cambridge, registered under the Ministry Of Education, IB certified ( Western University, Canada ) and an Ex-HOD. Apart from having a Bachelor of Arts ( Hons) in English language and Literature, she has a Cambridge CELTA, TESOL for Adults and Children and a Diploma in Teaching from the University Of Cambridge. She is also a trained IELTS, PTE and SAT trainer. She is currently working as an English Language and Literature teacher, training for high stake exams, and completing PGCE (International Education) from Liverpool University. Ms Deb believes in student-centric lessons and employs personalized and multimodal teaching methods and QNA to keep students motivated throughout the lesson. She effectively tracks her students' progress by giving them formative and summative exams and homework at the end of every session. For the last ten years, more than 100 students have scored a perfect 7 for IB History, English, Business and Psychology. Over the years, she has taken pride in mentoring students who were admitted to Stanford, UPenn, Brown, UChicago, Cornell, NYU, UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, UCLA, Georgetown University, CMU, Pepperdine, UToronto, Cambridge, Imperial College London, King's College London, UCM, UCD, UCI, UCSD, UCSC, GWU, Northeastern, UVA, Case Western, Emory, Wesleyan, Manchester, Bristol, Queen Mary, NUS and more.
