My background and interest in sports has taught me how to be proactive, professional and love challenges. I have a diverse athletic background, having swam and played rugby and waterpolo for my school, even representing Singapore for waterpolo in the past. Since leaving my CCAs I spend my time learning about the many aspects of fitness and applying it to my exercise sessions with my army friends. I  enjoy working in a team and have learned to communicate clearly and effectively with others during my time in waterpolo and the army.

Work Experience

5/2021 – present                    Singapore Armed Forces, Fusion Commander

• Leading a small team and worked together with government technology agencies in the development of the army’s next-generation data visualization capabilities.
• Ran trials of the prototype data visualization tools during army exercises.

Extracurricular Merits and Achievements

6/2019       Singapore Pre-university Seminar participant (Future transport)

• Researched and built upon the transport infrastructure of Singapore, suggesting route planning improvements viaincorporating waiting times across public buses and metros into public transport mobile applications
• Planned a new media campaign that would target the less tech-savvy elderly population in Singapore to allow them tobenefit from the app
• Attended lectures and sharings on city planning and governance.
• Presented our findings during the project showrooms which were attended by government officials and the general public.
