About Denise Lim:

I am currently an undergraduate at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, majoring in Human Resource Management. Personally, I am an outgoing individual who enjoys working in teams. The reason for me choosing the major that I am in now is solely due to the fact that I enjoy working the people and I hoped that I am able to pursue a career in the human resource industry in the future. 

I am also passionate about branding and social media marketing as I previously graduated with a diploma in marketing. I hope to gain more industry insights by applying for internships related to this field. I enjoy creating posters as it really forces me to be creative and think out of the box.

  • Compared industry information with MSI’s policies and insurance and proposed recommendations and improvements, which improved MSI’s ability to retain its current workforce.  
  • Analyzed claims utilization data to justify the proposed recommendation during the insurance renewal process, which improved MSI’s employee benefits. 
  • Researched and updated the leave regulation of the various countries within the APAC region and cross-checked it with MSI’s current leave policies, which ensured that MSI is in compliance with the regulations.
