Project: Leadlease Mall, Hotel and Office (sub-contractor) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- QAQC Intern (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) July 2022 – October 2022 (3 months)
- Carried out site inspections with consultant and sub-contractor.
- Ensure quality of works is achieved in accordance with method statement.
- Have participated in monitoring UPV test, MPI test, pull out test for anchor bolt and pull-off adhesion test.
- Assisted QAQC engineer in preparing report:
- QAQC weekly and monthly progress meeting report with project management team.
- QAQC site diary report.
- QAQC Post concrete progress meeting report with Sub-contractor.
- Assisted QAQC engineer to close Non-Conformance Report (NCR).

Project: Merdeka Retail Mall (main contractor) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- QAQC Intern (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) November 2019 – March 2020 (5 months)
- Carried out site inspections with consultant and sub-contractor:
- Post concrete inspection for column, slab soffit, slab, and beam & lift wall /staircase wall.
- Concreting work for cube test & slump test and reinforcement bar inspection.
- Rectification work for structural defect like hacking, setting formwork, patching/grouting, dismantling formwork and cube preparation.
- Assisted the QAQC engineer in keep tracking of submission status like method statements, work inspection requests (WIR), test reports, material submissions, quality plans, sample submissions and all other technical submissions.
- Assisted QAQC engineer to close Non-Conformance Report (NCR).

- Finite Element Modelling for Structural Behaviour of Hollow Reinforced Concrete Beam
- The concrete beam models were developed using ABAQUS with variations in size, shape, and position of the hollow section, and they were tested under a 4-point bending test. The load-deflection curve, stress-strain distribution, crack pattern, and failure mode were investigated. The optimum design of the hollow section consists of circular holes positioned just below the neutral axis of the concrete beam.

- The Study of Concrete Strength with Admixture Added
The concrete samples were prepared using ST3 (Mix proportion for standard mixes from Table 5: BS 5800) with the number of paper clips as 0, 50, 100, and 150, and ST5 without any added admixture. The effect of paper clips as steel fibers on the concrete design was investigated. The presence of steel fibers increased compressive strength but reduced the concrete's workability.
