I have been working as a patient safety specialist in a pharmaceutical company and currently on a rotation to the medical affairs department. I understand the role of MSL is diverse- from gathering insights from patient/ HCP for patient journey mapping or medical strategy, point of contact for scientific queries, to engaging external partners for innovative partnerships to improve patient access/ outcomes and create data generation opportunities. I would love to be involved in the processes of how MSL can contribute to create value for both newly launched product as well as existing product. Working in the industry for about 4 years, I learn the importance of cross-functional communication to get tasks or projects moving. Every individual from various expertise has valuable insight and contribution to completion of a project.
