About Eric EH Ong:
Seasoned, self-starter technology banking professionals with experience in pioneering new team startups. I have undertaken roles in managing IT audits, tech risk and cybersecurity subjects and team management. Formative years were spent in supporting banking systems and managing tech projects. I am interested to learn, participate and leverage my skillsets in sustainable energy initiatives and working with ESG-minded organisations.
Experience
Over 22 years of global and regional banking experience spanning across retail/consumer, corporate investment and wealth management banking of which the last 14 years have been undertaking various technology and cybersecurity risk roles including driving IT disaster recovery programs, managing information security, audits, tech governance and tech risk management. Formative years were spent in technical, business account/people management responsibilities managing projects and services provided by regional shared service centre and external vendor environment.
Education
MBA (2006) from University of Birmingham with Bachelor of IT(1997) majoring in data communications from QUT. Post-MBA, I pursued and obtained a Specialist Diploma in Entrepreneurship from Singapre Polytechnic.
