Ferra Leong

I am an ambitious and proactive student currently in my final semester at RMIT, pursuing a degree in Marketing. With a diploma in Business Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic already under my belt, I am on track to graduate in December. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in various aspects of business, making me adaptable and open to exploring diverse roles and job opportunities within the field.

During my time at the Ministry of Health (Singapore) MOH Covid-19 Emergency Line, I worked as a Customer Care Officer, proficiently handling inbound and outbound calls to meet customer needs effectively. My ability to identify caller requirements, provide appropriate solutions, and ensure timely responses has proven valuable in ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.

As an intern at Ernst & Young, I had the opportunity to contribute to the Talent Attraction and Acquisition team. I supported the recruitment process by managing interview scheduling, tracking feedback, and maintaining accurate communication regarding CVs and interview arrangements. Additionally, I actively engaged in job postings on external university portals and assisted in the onboarding of new hires. My experience in internship engagement events and career fairs reflects my ability to excel in event management.

I further expanded my skill set during an internship with Macro Events Ptd Ltd, where I was involved in sales and marketing activities. Collaborating with the team leader, I contributed to the development of tender bid proposals and brainstormed creative ideas for event activities and games. My proactive approach in sourcing resources and quotations for event setups helped in achieving successful event execution aligned with client expectations

Currently I’m  pursuing a degree in marketing at RMIT. Prior to this, I completed a diploma in business studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Before that, I obtained a higher Nitec in events management at ITE. My educational background demonstrates a progression in business-related studies.
