Firdaus Shariff

I have always had a passion for the maritime industry. I am currently holding both a Certificate of Competency Class 2 (Chief Officer license) and a Port Limit Special Grade manning license. 

I also hold a Business IT diploma from Temasek Polytechnic in 2012 and a WSQ Professional Diploma in Leadership and People Management (Level 4). I also hold an Advanced Liquefied Gas Tanker certificate from PACE Academy (Singapore Polytechnic). With all the skills and working experiences that I had both on land and onboard LPG ships (liquefied gas carriers) for at least 36 months (foreign-going), 11 months of which I served as a Fourth Officer and 6 months as a Third Officer. I am certain to contribute to the growing success in this company. 

I also possess good communications skills and an ability to interact with clients and colleagues comfortably. I have good IT skills (MS office applications) in presenting materials and reports, am well organised and have a systematic working style and attention to detail. I am also fluent in English and Malay and am currently picking up Mandarin as my third language. 

Seafarer with a total of 36 months of seatime on board LPG vesels. Highest position held: Third Officer.
