Jacqueline Chin

I am Jacqueline Chin, a 22-year-old undergraduate student, pursuing a degree in Sports Science and Management at Nanyang Technological University. I am passionate about customer service and have been working part-time in the hospitality industry for the past 6 years. Also an enthusiast for sports and wellness, where I play Touch Rugby and go for daily runs to keep my serotonin levels up. With my strong passion for hospitality and sports, I hope that I will be able to cultivate skills and gain experience in these industries that will be essential for me as I aspire to work full-time in the sports and wellness industry.

I have been working part-time in the hospitality industry for the past 6 years, where I have worked at fitness & yoga studios and various Food & Beverage (F&B) establishments. Currently, I am working part-time as a club crew at Trapeze Rec Club. My job scope includes leading and assisting the club manager to ensure members’ needs and wants are met, generating sales by upselling membership packages and encouraging members to renew their packages or upgrade to unlimited packages. Manage tours around the club for new or interested members and maintain the cleanliness of the club. 

Currently, I am a second-year student at Nanyang Technological University, pursuing a degree in Sports Science and Management. Having studied hospitality at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where I graduated with a Diploma in Hotel Leisure and Facilities Management, I decided to further my studies in the field of sports, enabling me to gain knowledge of the business functions in both sports and recreational organisations as I aspire to work full-time in the sports and wellness industry.
