Jada Loau

I am Jada Loau, currently a Year 1 undergraduate enrolled in the NUS School of Computing, specialising in Business Analytics.

In my brief academic journey, spanning one year, I have diligently cultivated a versatile skill set in various coding languages and analytical skills, including Python, Java, R and currently, SQL.

To further demonstrate my pursuit of excellence, earlier this year, I had participated in the Maritime Right Ship Hackathon where my team and I were tasked to analyse big sets of data, and thus draw inferences, bringing to the table insightful findings. This experience has not only sharpened my coding proficiency but has also fuelled my fervent passion for problem-solving, particularly within the realm of mathematics.

Apart from that, I am also a recipient of the NUS Merit Scholarship and have recently joined the Business Analytics Consulting Team. 

I am also very much a sports person. I am a member of the NUS Varsity Touch Rugby Team, and I have represented the school at multiple competitions thus far. I play touch in my free time as well.

I am currently an undergraduate in NUS, studying under the School of Computing, majoring in Business Analytics. In NUS, we have been taught and thus equipped with multiple coding and analytical skills, of which includes Python, R, Java, SQL. I have also took time to increase my proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint. I have also participated in a hackathon earlier this year and am part of the Business Analytics Consulting Team in NUS.
