An ambitious and driven individual, I am not afraid to step out of my comfort zone to learn new skills and embrace new challenges. I founded MACRO Learning with two like-minded friends, with the aim of revolutionizing the tuition industry. On top of being on confident leader, I am a critical thinker, good communicator and meticulous worker.

MACRO LEARNING

Co-Founder, Manager and Partner (2022 – Present)

MACRO Learning is a student-led social enterprise aimed at teaching students how to learn better. MACRO is founded by 3 like-minded Singaporean students with the goal of revolutionizing the education system in Singapore. Our company vision of ‘For Students, By Students’ is a representation of MACRO’s ethos. We want to teach students how to achieve good results and also lead a fulfilling junior college (JC) life, based on the experiences we have acquired when we were studying.

• Managed the finances, accounting and administration of the enterprise
• Self-learnt and constructed Excel spreadsheets and script programmes for administration purposes
• Involved in digital marketing, outreach and advertising on Instagram (90k followers) and TikTok (200k followers)
• Created training material for GCE “A” Levels H2 Biology, Chemistry and Economics
• Conducted an online webinar course for 400+ Junior College participants over a three-day span
• Organised a A Levels sharing session with Yew Tee Youth Network, People’s Association for more than 150 participants
• Taught students GCE “A” Levels H2 Biology and helped them to improve their results

Mandatory Military Service

Lieutenant (LTA), Platoon Commander, Signals Formation (2021 – 2022)

• Attended Officer Cadet School from March 2021 - December 2021
• Signals Platoon Commander in an active Signals Battalion from December 2021 - November 2022
• Led and managed a platoon of men
• Trained the discipline and competency of soldiers, maintaining the operational readiness of the Company
• Worked with limited time and resources to organise and plan training conducts for the Battalion
• Initiated and implemented an Excel spreadsheet to train and track the fitness statuses of soldiers in the Company
